Kevin Walter and his family moved to the Belvedere Subdivision in 2001. Shelley and Kevin live with their five children, Abby, Drew, Alex, Olivia and Luke. It’s always a busy house full of family and friends as well as the family’s two dogs, Maggie and Max. Learn a bit more about each of the Walter family members.
Kevin Walter is a dedicated father and husband balancing a demanding job as Vice President for a local technology services firm with civic commitments and family joys. Kevin coaches DSL soccer, DYA baseball, leads Dublin Cheer and actively participates in Y-Tribe activities.
Shelley Walter is the heart of the household. A dedicated wife and mother, Shelley volunteers as past-president of the Deer Run PTO, is active in the Welcome Warehouse “Adopt A Family” program, sits on the Exec Tennis Committee at The Country Club at Murifield Village, runs Dublin Cheer and ensures that homework is done each and every night. Shelley also works as a Project Manager for a Columbus media company.
Abby Walter is a 2011 graduate from Ohio University. Graduated in Early Childhood Education, Abby is a Master Teacher at the Ohio University Child Development Center. Great with kids, Abby loves spending quality family time every chance she gets!
Drew Walter is a junior at the University of Toledo. An SAE brother, Drew is committed to growing into a strong and virtuous man. Drew works several jobs while he also is an ice hockey referee along with indoor and outdoor soccer referee duties. Majoring in business, Drew hopes to run his own business someday!
Alex Walter is a 2011 graduate of Dublin Jerome High School and will be attending Columbus State Community College in the fall. An avid photographer, Alex has exhibited and sold his photos online. Alex loves music, art and all things creative. Since before he was sixteen Alex has balanced school and the life of a working man!
Olivia Walter is a joyful elementary schooler at Deer Run Elementary. She loves soccer, cheerleading, swimming, volleyball, music as well as science and math. A great friend to all, Olivia knows about as many people in Dublin as her mother!
Luke Walter is the youngest of the family and is also at Deer Run Elementary. A sports junkie, Luke can go toe to toe with any adult when discussing all things Ohio State, Cleveland Browns and Columbus Crew. Each morning, Luke starts his day with SportsCenter and ends it by catching the nightly scores!
Good luck Kevin! Dublin would be lucky to have you as a councilman! One of Becky’s best friends is Jamie Atkins. You might have met her at the wedding or even our house in Ohio. Jamie is an architect and urban planner for the city of Dublin. She was visiting us less than a month ago & is a great advocate for Dublin. Hi to Shelley & the kids.
